Hi! I’m Mr. Owens, school counselor at Trenton Elementary.  I received my undergraduate degree in Criminal Justice from Elizabeth City State University as well a Masters degree in Professional Counseling from Liberty University.

I am here to help all TES students feel their very best so that they can be ready to learn and grow everyday.  I teach classroom lessons around mindsets and behaviors that lead to successful students, leading small groups to improve academic skills, manage feelings, build positive relationships, and conduct individual counseling sessions.  

 I am excited to be serving as your Trenton Elementary school counselor. I enjoy having the opportunity to get to know many of the super students and wonderful families in our school.
