Our Pre-K registration is unusually low, and we need your help to ensure we are reaching families with students who will need Pre-K instruction this fall. Please make sure that if you or someone you know wants their child or children to have a spot in the Pre-K program, you complete your registration immediately. Please contact Mrs. Destiny Ward at the Jones County Partnership for Children at 252-448-5272. We want every child in Jones County to have the best head start in learning.
Additionally, we continue to seek your opinion on our school's mascot! Please take a few moments to share and complete this short survey. Only one response per email address will be accepted. Good afternoon, there will be a substitute driver for bus 130 this afternoon. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
On the evening of May 9th, Jones County School’s senior staff, Jones Senior High’s staff, and the Jones County Sheriff’s Department received a tip of a potential threat of a weapon being brought on the campus of Jones Senior High School on May 10th. The school district and sheriff's office worked together to provide officers and staff to conduct a search of the campus and students’ belongings before students entered the building. For clarification, Trenton Elementary School students did not have any interruptions to their learning day, and no elementary students were searched. However, we will always prioritize the safety and security of our students and staff. Please enjoy your weekend!
