Therefore the students will need to be ready at least 20-30 minutes earlier than usual. Also students that ride bus 137 you will also need to be ready earlier. The Jones County Sheriff's Office is also aware and, based on their investigation, has found that a similar message has been copied and sent to other school districts. At this time, it appears this vague threat has no validity.
We appreciate our students and families bringing this message to our attention. Please remind your child NOT TO SHARE these messages with friends on social media, as doing so could result in severe consequences even if they are not the originator.

Trenton Elementary buses are to arrive at the school by 9:30am. Jones Senior buses are to arrive at the school by 9:55am. The students that normally ride bus 135 in the morning, will ride bus 137 or bus 129 depending on their address. So please be on the lookout for either of those buses in the morning. Good afternoon, parents and guardians! Effective Tuesday, September 3rd, we will add a morning-only bus route to reduce early pick-up and travel times for students at Trenton Elementary School. The new bus that will be added is Bus 135, and parents or guardians of affected students will be contacted by phone today. Otherwise, students will ride their buses as scheduled and can expect a later pick-up time of approximately 20 minutes. For any students that are intending to ride the bus for the 2024-2025 school year, please either pick up a transportation form at any of our schools or the bus garage. Just a F.Y.I. you don't have to get the form from the school you will be attending. Also you may complete an online transportation form (2024-2025 Transportation form) on the district website www.jonesnc.net under the PARENTS tab.
