You will hear from our superintendent, Dr. Bryce Marquis, and other district staff, and you will have time to ask questions about our programs. Good afternoon, Trenton Elementary School families. On Tuesday, we will begin our mid-year North Carolina Benchmark testing in grades 3 through 5. We plan to test Reading on Tuesday, Math on Wednesday, and Science for 5th -grade only on Thursday. We are watching weather reports closely and will send any information about a change in our schedule as soon as it is available. Please encourage your children to take this assessment seriously and tell them to do their best work. A good night's sleep will also assist them in preparation for testing. We will serve breakfast, as usual, and begin testing. Please arrive on time so your child isn't absent for testing which would require them to make up the test on another date. Thank you for your support as we look to see substantial growth from the beginning of the year.
